Lego Marvel Super Heroes

Lego Marvel Super Heroes is a 2013 Lego-themed action-adventure video game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for platforms including PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows, with Feral Interactive handling the OS X version. The gameplay follows the familiar Lego formula seen in titles like Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, combining action sequences with puzzle-solving elements. The handheld version, developed by TT Fusion and titled Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril, was released for iOS, Android, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and PlayStation Vita. The Nintendo Switch edition became available on October 8, 2021.

The story unites various Marvel heroes to stop Doctor Doom and Loki, who have allied with numerous villains in an attempt to conquer Earth using the Doom Ray of Doom, a powerful device created from shards of the Silver Surfer's board known as "Cosmic Bricks." The narrative emphasizes teamwork and humor, typical of Lego games, allowing players to control a wide roster of superheroes as they thwart the villains' plans across diverse locations. Notably, Lego Marvel Super Heroes is the best-selling Lego video game to date, reflecting its widespread appeal and successful blend of Marvel lore with Lego’s signature gameplay style. A fun fact: the game features over 150 playable characters from the Marvel Universe, making it one of the most extensive rosters in Lego game history.
